Mbale is a town in the Eastern region of Uganda; it’s the municipal administrative and commercial center of Mbale district. It’s approximately, 225km from Kampala. It’s a home to Uganda’s largest extinct volcano, mountain Elgon, the famous Sipi falls, and many more. It’s predominantly occupied by the Bagisu people commonly known as “bamasaba”

Itineraries
Day 1
Your Plan
Our driver guide will pick you up room your hotel in Kampala /Entebbe after your early morning breakfast and set off for Mbale, taking the eastern part of Uganda through Jinja and Iganga.
Upon arrival, you will, have lunch at reserved restaurant in Mbale town, as you relax and prepare for the Sipi falls hike.
Activity 1
Hike at Sipi falls
You will then head to Sipi falls, start the hike and visit the water falls over looking Sipi river lodge and eventually visit the other two waterfalls .the day hike can last up to 3 hours reaching the waterfalls on a steep hill as you climb up. This hike takes you through the community with views of the rolling hills; you will see numerous animal species of animals and birds.
Activity 2
Bull fighting and sundowner at wanale.
After the hike, you will then move to Wanale for this amazing activity. You will venture into the countryside district of Budada and experience bullfighting in a village setting .A spot that has been practiced since 1920, later on; catch the sunset on top of the Wanale ranges near Mbale town. You will then proceed to Mount Elgon hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Activity 3
Museum and transfer back to Kampala
After your breakfast, you will check out of the hotel, and head to MT Elgon culture and history museum. This museum will quench your curiosity about the Gishu cultural habits and practices. You will enjoy the diversity of culture and it will open your eyes to the beautiful and detailed practices in the region.
You will then set off for Kampala, stopover at Jinja for lunch and then proceed, to Kampala, on your way back, be sure to enjoy the eye catching green covered hills of the east. You will be dropped off at your destination of your choice, and that will mark the end of your Mbale city tour.
