Entebbe- Kibale- Bwindi forests- Entebbe

Meet the chimpanzees, be welcomed by chimp morning calls deep in the forest. You will combine this jaunt to Bwindi forests to meet a gorilla family with several younger males, adults, juvenile females and infants. A woo experience in their natural habitat. DETAILED ITINERARY:
DAY 1 : Entebbe – Kibale Forests ( Driving time is 5-6hours)
Start this interesting drive through the ruggedly and beautiful country side into the thick of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori mountains. Aftnoon guaided nature walk in the crater lakes area of the park for the outstanding sightseeing and Scenery.

Day 2 : Â Fantastic Chimpanzee Trek
Your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing center right after breakfast, he will then hand in your details and permits for registration and allocation of chimpanzee community to trek . You will then be allocated to a chimpanzee community and your ranger guide will lead you on a trek in search for this ape. Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, feed , play , breast feeding and rest. Witness other special primates like the Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, Olive Baboons, and butterflies. Afernoon you will go for a nature walk to Bigodi swamp-to see unique flora and fauna.

Day 3: Kibale Forests – Bwindi Forests. (Drive time +5hrs)
This day’s drive is through what is probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, the highland rain forests to discover the mountain gorillas in this beautiful remote area. Afternoon relaxation with pamper treatment at your lodge.

DAY 4: Wonderful Gorilla Trekking Day.
Set and ready for gorilla meeting which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the Uganda wild Life Authority guides and ranges ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for the group you have been booked for. Gorilla tracking may take 2-6 hours but it’s well worth the effort.

DAY 5: Flight from Bwindi Forest – Entebbe . ( Flight Time +1hour)
Take a flight from Bwindi- Kihihi airstrip, you may choose to catch up mornig flight or wih the afternoon flight depending Bwindi back to Entgebbe. Alternatively, get on the road transfer taking up to 9hours through beautiful sightseeing in an exceptional experience. End of the trip.
